L.O.M Downsizing and Closing Announcement

Dear L.O.M Lovers,

We wanted to share some important news with you. After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close L.O.M for a few months. Despite our best efforts, it has become increasingly challenging to sustain the business in its current format.

The aftermath of the pandemic has presented us with unforeseen challenges, impacting both our customers and our ability to maintain operations. We understand that the rising cost of living has made it difficult for many to afford our products, and the decrease in festival attendance has reduced the demand for our outfits. Additionally, the escalating costs of running a business, coupled with the inability to afford materials, have made it unsustainable for us to continue operating as we have been.

We have been surviving on loans and personal savings to keep the business afloat, but it is no longer viable. As a result, we have decided to take a proactive approach and pause operations temporarily. Our aim is to relaunch when conditions are more favorable.

During this hiatus, we will be reevaluating our approach and making significant changes. When we return, we will be focusing primarily on Lycra and a select few accessories, streamlining our product offerings to ensure sustainability and profitability.

In preparation for our relaunch, we will be discontinuing most products that do not align with our new direction. These items will be available for purchase until March 9th, after which online sales for new orders will be closed. We will spend March and April fulfilling existing orders and preparing for our reopening.

We understand that this may come as disappointing news, but we see it as a necessary evolution for L.O.M. We are optimistic about returning to the festival scene this summer with a renewed focus and direction.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support throughout this journey. Your loyalty and encouragement mean the world to us, especially during these challenging times. We look forward to welcoming you back when we reopen, and we hope to see you again this summer.
