Wedding and Gold Size Guide
For your convenience, most of our pieces can be made remotely, all we need are your measurements. However, if you prefer an in-person experience, you can book a fitting session at the L.O.M Studios for an additional £85 per session - which includes the session time, and the alterations required.
Please note that all our Wedding and Gold pieces are made to order and are non-returnable. It's crucial to provide accurate measurements before we commence crafting your piece to ensure the perfect fit.
If you fall outside our standard sizing, we recommend considering custom measurements or being prepared to visit a local tailor for adjustments. Our standard sizes are based on UK sizing averages, and many of our pieces are designed to be very fitted. If you're between sizes, we advise ordering up and then having the item tailored locally for the ideal fit.
If you have any questions about sizing, fittings or anything else, please use our contact form and we will get back to you.
Measuring tips:
- It is possible to take your own measurements, however, it is always easier to do it with a friend!
- Make sure you are wearing undergarments similar to those you want to wear on the big day.
- Some dresses require more complicated measurements, for this you might want to get your measurements done for a reasonable price at your local tailor.
- Do not pull the tape measure too tight
- Use a fabric tape measure - do NOT use a metal tape measure!
Waist: Your waist measurement is taken at the narrowest part of your waist, this is usually about an inch or so above your bellybutton
Bust: This is taken around the fullest part of the bust, making sure the tape measure does not drop or sag at the back. It is best to take this measurement whilst wearing any support you might want to wear on the day.
Hips: This measurement is to be taken around the fullest part of your hips, this is not around the hip bone, but around the low hips and bum.
